Audrey Schons Obituary
Born April 6, 1941 in Knox, she was the daughter of the late George and Twila Whitmer Finefrock.
Audrey was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She married James A. Schons on July 3, 1959. He preceded her in death on December 17, 1995.
Audrey worked for the former Davis Cookie Company in Rimersburg and Eat'n Park in Clarion.
She was a member of the Rimersburg Senior Citizens Center, where she enjoyed going and volunteering for years.
Survivors include her son, George W. Schons, and his wife, Linda, of South Dayton, N.Y.; her daughters, Candy L. McIntyre of Clarion and Karla D. Fingado and her husband, Andrew, of Summerville; and a daughter-in-law, Shelly Schons of Rimersburg; along with 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, whom she adored.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Ross J. Schons; her brothers, Jack Finefrock and Tom Finefrock; and her sisters, Susan Reichard and Georgie Morrow.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, September 19, at the Burns Funeral Home in Rimersburg.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. in the funeral home on Saturday, September 20, 2025, with the Rev. Loren McQueen officiating.
Interment will follow at the Rimersburg Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Audrey's honor to the Rimersburg Senior Citizens Center, 7363 Route 68, Rimersburg, PA 16248.
