Brian Kolich Obituary

Brian K. Kolich, 47, of Bradys Bend, died Monday, March 20, 2017.

Born July 10, 1969 in Butler, he was the son of Andrew B. "Butch" and Carol (Bowser) Kolich.

He married Laurie B. Beham on July 31, 2010. She survives.

Mr. Kolich was employed by Mid-Ohio Contracting, laying pipeline, and was previously employed by Bradys Bend Limestone.

He was a member of American Legion Post No. 488 in Bradys Bend and Rimersburg VFW Post No. 7132.

Mr. Kolich loved riding his Fatboy Harley, hunting, fishing, gardening, playing Texas Hold'em and spending time with his kids, family and friends.

In addition to his wife and father, survivors include a daughter, Jessica Kolich and fiancé, Andrew Hartle, of East Butler; a son, Austin Kolich of Bradys Bend; a brother, Doug Kolich of East Brady; three step-sons, Brock (Veronica), Brandon and Devin Shreckengost; a step-granddaughter, Emilia Shreckengost; a nephew, Bobby Kolich; and a great-nephew, Kyler Kolich.

He was preceded in death by an infant son, Dakota, and his mother.

Friends of Brian K. Kolich will be received from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, at Buechele Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc. in East Brady.

Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. on March 25 at the funeral home with the Rev. Pete Sapp of the Trinity Church officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the Kolich family asks that contributions be made to help with Mr. Kolich's children's future expenses. For more information, email [email protected].

Brian was my cousin and my first friend when my parents moved us back to East Brady. I have a million fond memories of Brian from our childhood. If he was your friend, he always had your back. May the Good Lord watch over Brian's family during these sad days. Love ya buddy.
