James Lawrence Obituary
Born on April 13, 1949 in New Bethlehem, he was the son of the late John M. Lawrence and Alta Darr Lawrence.
Beaver was a graduate of Redbank Valley High School.
He graduated from Penn State with a business degree.
He was a salesman for Gourley Meat Packing, and then became a business manager and salesman for Shirey Lumber.
Beaver enjoyed golf, baseball, softball, bowling, and loved sports trivia.
Survivors include a long-time companion, Deborah Kemp of New Bethlehem; one son, Scott of New Bethlehem; and a daughter, Sara Beth of California.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 12, at the Rupert Funeral Home and Cremation Service chapel, located at 233 Penn Street in New Bethlehem.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 13, 2024 at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bob Ryver officiating.
Memorial contributions may be given in the name of James C. Lawrence to the Clarion Cancer Center, 150 Doctors Lane, Clarion, PA 16214.
