Marty King Obituary
Born March 8, 1957, in Brookville, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Doris M. (Bright) Harriger.
Marty worked various jobs including home health care with Valley Advantages.
She was a member of the New Bethlehem VFW and Eagles Clubs.
She enjoyed being around her friends and she had a smile for everyone she met.
Survivors include a daughter, Traci L. King and her wife, Tracy, of Leetonia, Ohio; a granddaughter, Emma Lockhart; two brothers, Dennis Harriger of Pittsburgh and Terry Harriger and his wife, Luann, of New Bethlehem; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Patty L. Troup.
Visitation will be on Sunday, November 9, 2025, from noon to 3 p.m. at the Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn.
A Celebration of Life service will follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Anthony Rosario Adams officiating.
In lieu of flowers (because Marty was allergic to them), the family suggests that memorial donations may be made to the VFW in New Bethlehem in Marty's memory, to help with the children's Christmas party which she took part in every Christmas. She enjoyed watching their faces light up and their smiles.

We all had a nice time growing up together and you being our neighbor next to my grandma smiths house. Remembering when you made the haunted house in your garage and you gave us a ride on your horse and other other things all us neighbor kids did together.fun times.

Marty was one of a very few friends that you met in life that wouldn't talk behind your back she told it right to you. (one time especially) only know of 3 people in town who did know. between us three. Thank you Marty for that grand lesson always. May you rest in Jesus's arms now and will remember you always.
