Rose Baker Obituary

Rose Mary Baker, 85, of New Bethlehem, passed away early Sunday morning, January 11, 2026, at McKinley Health Center in Brookville.

Born February 14, 1940, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Samuel L. and Christina A. (Torrance) Wilson.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed her house plants, reading, crocheting, knitting and quilting.

She married Robert R. Baker on July 8, 1957. He survives.

She is also survived by five children, Deb Rearick and her husband, Denny, Robert Baker Jr. and his wife, Darlene, Judy Minich and her husband, Mike, and Kenneth Baker, all of New Bethlehem, and Sheri Lockwood and her husband, Brad, of Brookville; 12 grandchildren, Jess, Nate, Erika, Mitch, Haley, Hannah, Mike, Marcy, Jerrica, Nick, Mike Jr. and Erin; 15 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jeanette (Jack) Wiman of Beaver Falls and Blanche (Rod) LeFebvre of Industry; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Keith A. Baker; two sisters, Jane Schroeder and June Davis; and a brother, Samuel Wilson Jr.

Rose's request was to have a private funeral service at the convenience of the family.

Interment will be in the Oakland Cemetery.

Arrangements are at the direction of the Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn.
