Rosemary Rhoads Obituary
Rosemary was born in New Bethlehem on May 12, 1945, daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa (Palaggo) Constable.
She graduated from Redbank Valley High School in New Bethlehem in 1963 and went on to marry Ellwood K. Rhoads on October 21,1963.
Rosemary worked for and retired from Avon. She worked in District 370 and District 371 and was a district sales manager for 20 years.
She was a member of the Moose, where she served as a recorder and president for the WOTM.
Rosemary was also a member of the Italian Home Club and attended St. Michael's Church, Greenville.
She liked to spend her time reading and playing cards, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Kristina Rhoads McCartney of Greenville; a son, Ellwood (Chip) Rhoads of Lancaster; three grandchildren, Kristi Henlen of Transfer, Abby Rhoads of Hermitage and Tony McCartney of Nashville, Tenn.
She is also survived by two brothers-in-law, Scott Rhoads "Suzie" of Corsica and Terry Rhoads of Punxsutawney; and two sisters-in-law, Patricia Rhoads of Kentucky and Mrs. Michael (Sally) Jacquish of Cary, N.C.; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother, Joseph Constable and his wife Jeanne Constable; and her son-in-law, Bruce McCartney.
Memorial Mass was held at noon on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, located at 85 North High Street in Greenville, with Father Raymond Gramada as celebrant.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, located at 3223 Perry Highway in Sheakleyville.
