David Clark Andrzejewski, 59, of Cassopolis, died peacefully Monday, November 24, 2025, in the comfort of his family's presence.
His life began July 30, 1966 in South Bend, Indiana, the oldest of eight children. Dave was a 1984 graduate of Ross Beaty High School, he then attended Grand Valley State University.
Dave was a Journeyman Meat Cutter, covering over forty years, beginning at Kroger and ending his career at Martins.
Due to his love of sports, Dave invested his time coaching football, baseball and softball in Cassopolis and River Valley. He was a passionate Fighting Irish, White Sox, Dolphins and Chiefs fan. Dave adored his daughters and granddaughter, making sure that they wanted for nothing and shared with them his love of comedy, science fiction, and sports. He was a weather fanatic and amateur storm chaser and often brought along his daughters who he enjoyed sharing his interests with. Dave used his quick wit and wicked sense of humor to master the art of sarcasm, which was evidenced by his deep love of stand-up comedy and cinema. He was a big fan of science fiction, especially Star Trek, and was an avid fan of the entire comic book genre owning an extensive collection, as well as being a collector of action figures and sports memorabilia. Dave had an impressive memory for sports and history.
Dave will be deeply missed by family and friends. He is survived by two daughters, Mairin Andrzejewski, Emily Andrzejewski; one grand-daughter, Kasady Nova; his mother, Lynn Makay; five sisters, Elaine (Stephen) Green, Jeanne Makay, Joanne Makay, Jacque Makay, Marye Bailey; two brothers, Don (Jude) Makay, and Jon Makay; and his canine companion Ernie and Baxter.

Sorry to David's family, I had the pleasure of meeting him at dialysis a couple of years ago and we sat by each other for these past 2 years, we both shared our fight with lupus and kidney failure.
