Cherilyn "Cheri" Kay Huhn passed away unexpectedly at Marshfield Medical Center in Eau Claire, WI on Saturday, May 10.
Cheri was born on December 19, 1947, to Errol and Geraldine (Frank) Huhn in Chippewa Falls, WI. Cheri grew up in Cadott, WI, where she graduated from Cadott High School.
After high school, Cheri went on to cosmetology school which led to the start of her career as a beautician. In 1993, Cheri purchased The Twirl In Beauty Shoppe on Elm Street in Chippewa Falls where she lived and worked until her final time with us.
Cheri enjoyed her trips to Jackpot Junction, playing cards with friends, and going to play bingo with her daughter, Michelle. Cheri loved spending time with her family and friends and was a very proud grandmother.
Cheri is survived by her sisters, Brenda and Lynette Huhn; daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Douglas Asher; grandchildren, Zachary and Tayler Asher; and great-grandson, Oliver.
Cheri is preceded in death by her parents, Errol and Geraldine Huhn; and brother, Merlin Huhn.
A celebration of life gathering will be held at Thompson Funeral Home & Chippewa Valley Cremation Services in Bloomer, WI on Friday, May 16 from 4-6 p.m. A private graveside interment will be held at a later date.
