Wesley E. Rowley, age 81 of Eau Claire passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at Care Partners in Eau Claire.
Wesley was born on September 19, 1943 in Darlington, Wisconsin to Charlotte and Raymond Rowley; he was one of thirteen children. Wes was a kind soul whose friendly disposition and bright smile won him "buddies" everywhere he went (CDC, Bethesda and all around town). As a long-time fan of Elvis, he traveled on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Graceland.
Wesley met Doug and Karen Knight who became his legal guardians and who-along with their children and Mark Nelson's family-became his Eau Claire family for many decades. For many years Wesley enjoyed yearly birthday parties attended by his brother, Bernard, and many friends. Thank you for all who showed up to make his birthdays special for him each year.
A service will take place at Bethesda Lutheran Church in Eau Claire, WI on Thursday, June 26 at 3:30 pm. He will be interred at Lakeview Cemetery in Eau Claire.
