Beatrice Bouch Obituary

Beatrice Evelyn Bouch, 92, of Plum, died at 12:01 a.m. Monday, March 24, 2014, at the Kittanning Care Center, Manor Township. Born Sept. 25, 1921, in Leechburg, she was a daughter of the late Miles Jasper and Mary Jane (Chadwick) Bouch. She was an x-ray technician at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights, for 18 years, retiring in 1982; previously working in the mail department at Alcoa in New Kensington for 22 years. She was also formerly employed as a nurse's aide at Citizens General Hospital in New Kensington. She was a member of Manchester Reformed Presbyterian Church in Upper Burrell. She enjoyed crocheting, doing crafts, reading and going to the senior citizens center in New Kensington. Survivors include her nephew, Ronald D. (Karen) Bouch, of Allegheny Township; niece, Donna J. Marks, of North Buffalo Township; and several grand nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a nephew, Samuel E. Bouch; niece, Sandy Riffer; brother, Eugene S. Bouch; and sister-in-law, Alberta "Birdie" Bouch. Friends will be welcomed by her family 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at CLAWSON FUNERAL and CREMATION CENTER, 170 Main St., Leechburg, 724-842-1051, where funeral ceremonies will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, with her pastor, the Rev.
