David J. Setlock, 49, of East Vandergrift, died Monday, Feb. 4, 2008, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born Oct. 4, 1958, a son of the late Andrew Setlock and Helen Mae (Pierce) Shipley. He was a lifelong resident of the Kiski Valley area. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Daryl Shipley. He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Shirley) Setlock; son, David Setlock Jr., of Elderton; daughter, Shawna Shirley; seven grandchildren, Brayden, Kayley, Samantha, Briana, Logan, Clayton and Spencer; two brothers, Joseph Setlock and Thomas Setlock; and stepsister, Darlene. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in CURRAN-SHAFFER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 100 Owens View Ave., Apollo, PA 15613. Service and burial will be private.
