Floyd H. Pyle, 80, of Kittanning, passed away Thursday, Dec. 9, 2021, at ACMH Hospital.
He was born Feb. 14, 1941, in Kittanning, to the late Max and Nellie (Toy) Pyle.
Floyd worked as a coal miner and was a member of the Kittanning Free Methodist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, whom he married Oct. 6, 1962, Bertha (Kammerdiener) Pyle; three daughters: Wanda Ellis, of Kittanning, Bobbie Jo (Gregory) Mikeska, of Kittanning and Tina Miller, of Ford City; son, Joshua Pyle, of North Buffalo Township; eight grandchildren;
18 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sister, Delores (Foster) Boltz, of Worthington; and brother, Jack Pyle, of Chicora.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Eugene Toy, Phyllis Watterson, Max Pyle, Sr., Nancy Bowser, Catherine Elliot, Lloyd Pyle, Art Pyle, Lester Pyle, Jerry Pyle and George Pyle.
Friends will be received from noon to 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 13, 2021, at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning, and visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 6 p.m. with Pastor Jeremy Andrews officiating.
