Gyula Hill Obituary
Services were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Vandalia, with the Rev. Jerry Bagwell officiating. Burial was in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Ramsey. Visitation was held from 10 a.m. until time of services on Wednesday at the church. Hohlt and File Funeral Home in Vandalia was in charge of arrangements. Memorials: Fayette County Health Department Hospice. Online condolences may be shared at www.hohltandfilefh.com.
Mrs. Hill was born on March 21, 1937, in Vandalia, the daughter of Ira R. and Clara M. Rockwell Oldham. She married Ross D. Hill on March 13, 1954, in Vandalia; he died on Nov. 21, 2013.
Survivors include sons, Rick Hill and his wife Faye of Vandalia, and Jeffery Hill and his wife Chris of Vandalia; and daughters, Tracy Lash of Vandalia, and Kelly and her husband Doug Klein of Vandalia.
