Terry Brown Obituary

Terry L Brown, 80, of Vandalia, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 29, 2020, at his home.
He was born on April 4, 1940, in Vandalia, son of Dennis and Edna Brown. Terry married Vicki Frazier on June 16, 1962 in Elgin.
He was the retired owner of Bo-K Flower and Gifts, and had previously managed stores for Sears in both Illinois and Indiana. He was director of the Illinois Florist Association, and an active member of Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Clubs of Nobelsville, Ind., and Vandalia. He grew up on a farm, which instilled his love of the outdoors, plants and repairing things. He enjoyed exploring the United States in his RV, especially our National Parks. Terry was light-hearted and, through the use of jokes and laughter, could always make the best of a conversation.
He is survived by his wife; daughter, Dana Schwarzmann with husband Eric; beloved grandsons, Maxwell and Sean of Glendale, Calif.; and brothers, Michael Brown with wife Beverly of Effingham, and Jim Brown with wife Dixie of Arizona.
He was preceded in death by a son, Bret.
