PAULA FORGE Obituary
On June 22, 1973, Paula married Steve Forge and they welcomed their son, Justin, in 1980. She was most proud of her son and, later, her grandchildren. She was committed to her faith and converted to Catholicism after her son was born. After retiring from her work as a licensed abstract and title agent and later a licensed massage therapist, Paula embraced her role as "Mrs. Forge - homeroom mom" within the Catholic school system. She actively participated in school fundraisers and formed lasting friendships. As a grandmother, she poured her time and resources into her grandsons, Ethan, Kason, and Peyton, finding immense joy in helping them grow.
Her smile was infectious and she knew no stranger. Paula was a great party planner. She could organize the best of times for all that needed a helping hand. Paula's energy and positivity will be greatly missed.
Paula was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Kathryn Cline; her mother-in-law, Juanita Forge; and her sister, Barbara Cline.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 51 years, Steve Forge; her son, Justin Forge, and his wife Lisa of Kernersville, N.C.; and her three grandsons, Ethan, Kason, and Peyton. Paula also leaves behind five siblings: Ronnie Cline, Bobby Cline, Sandra (Cline) Wiehe, Linda (Cline) Harrod, and Sharon Cline.
Visitation, beginning with praying of the rosary, is Thursday, June 12 from 6 to 8 p.m. at R.L. Leintz Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. Friday, June 13 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Fr. Glenn Snow, O. Carm., as celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the University of Kansas Cancer Center in Paula's name.
