Phenix City, AL- Alice Fay Woodall, 81 of Phenix City, AL passed away Thursday, May 26, 2016.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at 11:00am EST at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, AL. Chaplain Dean Knipe will officiate the service, according to Vance Memorial Chapel. There will be a procession leaving the funeral home at 10:30 on Tuesday traveling to Ft. Mitchell. The family will receive friends Sunday from 5-7pm at the funeral home.
Mrs. Woodall was born December 18, 1934 in Columbus, Ga, daughter of the late James Earl Hamby and Savannah Viola Walls Hamby. She was a member of Seale Road Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Mrs. Woodall is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Franklin D. Woodall and six siblings.
She is survived by her children, Judy Benefield (Mike),Tracy Miller (Jeff), Bobby Woodall ( Barbara) and Linda Lewis (Randy); grandchildren, Ryan Benefield, Keri Benefield, Holly Ferrone, Kimberly Daniel, Jenna Hall (Ken), Miranda Lewis, Nick Woodall (Lindsey), Bryan Woodall, Todd Woodall, Avery Wooten, Reilly Wooten, Colby Miller, Blaine Miller and Daulton Miller and 10 great grandchildren
The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Gentiva Hospice for the love and care given to our mother during her illness. A special thank you to her nurses Tywanna Robinson and Amanda Moore for the kind and compassionate care given to our mother.

Sorry for you all loss! Ms Wood all was a sweet, kindhearted woman of God. She will be missed by many that loved her. May God continue to strengthen the family in such a time...
