Columbus, GA- Ava Morgan Smith, infant angel, passed away into the arms of Jesus on Friday, December 14, 2012 in Columbus, GA.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at Lakeview Memory Gardens with Pastor Robert Goodman officiating. The family will receive friends at the graveside service.
Baby Ava was born Thursday, December 13, 2012 to the parents of Michael Glenn Smith and Jessica Virginia Durham Smith of Fortson, GA.
Other than Baby Ava's parents, she is survived by big brother Canaan Glenn Smith of Fortson, GA maternal grandparents, Bobby Glenn Durham and Karen Hornsby Durham of Phenix City, AL, paternal grandparents, Harry Glenn Smith and Beverly Jane Smith of Marietta, GA, maternal great grandparents, A. Waylon Hornsby and Myrlene Hornsby of Phenix City, AL, paternal great grandparents, Glenn B. Smith and Clare Smith of West Point, GA; aunts, Abby Smith and Karen Smith, uncle, Stoney Durham and numerous other loving family members.

Our heart breaks for you and your family. My husband and I lost our infant son on Oct 31st at 31 weeks. He was our only child. We feel your pain and know exactly what you are feeling. Keep your faith in God and know he has a plan for your precious daughter. May God's love continue to give you strength to make it through each day.
