Dear Trey, Beth, and Lee,
Ben was like a brother to me. I have so many wonderful memories of our childhood together when daddies were away to war. Our mothers lived together for awhile and Ben, Pam and I were there. Then there were all those happy summers when we could visit each other. Ben, Ann, and Lura Lee spent some happy times with us when we lived in Florida. My heart is sad for all of us that he has gone. I love each of you very, very much and hope that you can be comforted by knowing that Ben was also loved by many people.

The Bartlett family was special to many people. We mourn Ben's death - too young. His disease affected both our Mothers! You are in our thoughts and prayers!

I learned about Ben's death from Alan Shaw. I always thought Ben was such a good guy. My memories of him go way back to a trip the Northside Youth Group took to Ridegecrest Assembly. He became a real friend to all of us. Lee and Beth, I am sorry for your loss. I will keep you in my thoughts.
