Columbus, Georgia - Mr. Christopher M. Whitaker, 50, transitioned his life Wed, June 14, 2023 at Piedmont Healthcare. Funeral services for Mr. Christopher M. Whitaker will be held 1:00 p.m. Wed, June 21, 2023 at Hill-Watson Memorial Chapel at Rose Hill LLC. with Rev. Willie Barber, Jr., Pastor of Prospect A.M.E. Church, officiating according to Hill-Watson Memorial Chapel at Rose Hill LLC. 2919 Hamilton Road Col, GA. Interment will follow at Prospect A.M.E. Church Cemetery. I met Chris through close friends who are more like family. He became like a big brother to me. We had some good times in the early 90s. I will never forget the GP. That was his pride and joy...everybody loved to hear him beating the block down. You will be missed brother rest on.. my to the Whitaker Family

I knew Chris when I stayed at 5362 Delray Dr. I was young bur u remember Chris had swag. His car had THE BEST SOUND SYSTEM by far! You heard him before you saw him. I met him thru my big cuz (Scooter) and my brother J. Chris also had the best and neatest Kid and Play box haircut! Before Kid and Play! He will be missed.
