Columbus, Georgia- Mr. Conrad Dale King Sr., 69, of Columbus passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital.
Funeral services will be noon Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Sconiers Funeral Home Chapel. Rev.Melvin Mosley will officiate and burial will follow in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, AL. Visitation will be today from noon until 7 pm. The family will recieve friends and the cortege at 3457 Melrose Dr. Columbus, according to Sconiers Funeral Home, 836 5th Ave. Columbus.
Mr. King was born December 28, 1942 in Toledo, OH, the son of Percy and Sadie Griffin. He was a U.S. Army veteran and retired from MUTEC, and he was an employee of Muscogee County School District at Hardaway High School.
Survivors include his wife, Mary King, a son Conrad D. King Jr of Canton, OH, , two daughters, Tonya Green of Columbus, GA and Juanita King, a sister, Dorothy Griffin of both of Toledo, OH, devoted brother in law, AL Green, and other relatives.
