Oklahoma City, Oklahoma- Funeral service for Mrs. Cynthia Elaine Edwards Morris, 53, of Oklahoma City, OK will be conducted today, Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at Mt. Gilead A.M.E. Church, 8444 Fortson Rd., Columbus. Rev. James A. Hardaway, officiating, Rev. Dr. Peggy Myles will deliver the eulogy. Interment will be held in Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery. The funeral procession will depart from 1410-18th St at 12:15 P.M. according to the Charles E. Huff's International Funeral Home. Mrs. Morris was born August 11, 1960 in Columbus, GA to Mozell Pollard Edwards and Jacob Edwards. Survivors include a loving daughter, Christine Morris, Columbus, GA; two sisters, Vickie Edwards and Towandra Pollard of Columbus, GA; two brothers, Tony Edwards, Atlanta, GA and Jacob L. Edwards, Columbus, GA; two grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

Mama, it has been 9 years since you left us and we still feel the pain of your absence. There is not a day, moment or second that goes by without a thought or great memory of you. AND I WAS SADDEND TO HEAR THAT YOUR MOTHER(TANG) had passed. IMET YOUR MOTHER IN JULY IN 1982 AND WE BECAME BEST FRIENDS AND THE WE FOUND OUT THAT WE WAS COUSINS. WHERE EVER I WAS WE ALWAYS STAYED IN CONTACT WITH EACH OTHER. WHEN WE WAS OVERSEAS WE ALWAYS TALKED TO EACH OTHER. I AM HERE IF YOU NEED ME. I WAS FOURTUNATE ENOUGH TO HAVE MET TANG AT OUR NIECE AND NEPHEW HOUSE (MARQUIS AND SARAH EDWARDS)HOUSE A FEW YEARS AGO AND THIS PAST YEAR, WE TALKED OVER THE PHONE A FEW TIMES.
SHE WAS SO FULL OF LIFE,SHE SPOKE HER MINE BUT HAD A HEART OF GOLD. YOUR LOST IS FELT BY ALL THOSE THAT LUCY ENOUGH TO HAVE COME INTO HER PRESENT.
