Wille,
I am so sorry to learn of the passing of Doris. Years ago when I lived in Massachusetts and you and Doris were next door neighbors to my mother who lived alone in Columbus, Doris was a God send when my mother fell and broke her hip. After a stay in the hospital and rehab facility, Doris stepped right in when my mother returned home and gave her unbelievable care and attention as if it were her own mother. I have never forgotten that and will always be grateful to her for her wonderful giving spirit. My deepest condolences to you and your family.

To the family of Doris Byrd Dysick, please accept my deepest sympathy in the loss of one of the greatest ladies I have ever known. As Miss Byrd, she taught me at Jenkins Jr. High and I have never forgotten her kindness and all the knowledge she instilled. My fondest memory is when she became engaged to be married to Mr. Dysick and our class gave her a small wedding shower...I baked a cake from scratch that she took home to share with her beloved father...and all the funny stories she would tell us about the cats in her backyard. I will never forget our Miss Byrd and look forward to meeting her again in heaven. With kindest regards to all the family.

So very sorry to learn of the passing of my classmate and friend. I extend heartfelt condolences to the family as well as friends and associates.
I know from experience that it is never easy to handle the loss of a dear one. However, I encourage you to take comfort in the fact that she was a child of God, and has entered the MANSION that was prepared for her eternal salvation.
Be assured that she is safe and resting in HIS arms, now.

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
