Shiloh, Georgia - Mr. Douglas Lee, 79, of Shiloh, GA passed Saturday, June 17, 2023 in Decatur, GA. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. EST, Saturday, July 1, 2023 at Friendship Baptist Church, Hamilton, GA with Pastor Lacoya Day, pastor, Pastor Tim Maddox, officiating and Pastor Cory Jordan, eulogist. Burial to follow in Green Acres Cemetery, Columbus, GA. Visitation is Friday, June 30, 2023 from 1-5 p.m. EST according to Taylor Funeral Home, Inc.
Mr. Lee was born on Tuesday, September 28, 1943, to the union of Winson and Emma Lee in Ellerslie, GA. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a savvy businessman. Survivors include five children, Jonathan McGee, Vikki Jordan (Cory), Garry Lee, Karlos Lee and Shanta Lee; siblings, Gloria Maddox (Arch), Loretta Jackson (Roosevelt), Angela Stewart (Harry), Deprimethon Lee (Donna Marie) and Andre Lee (Peggy); six grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
