Phenix City, AL- Guy Willis, Jr. 81, of Phenix City, Alabama passed Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at his residence. Graveside services will be held 12:00PM Monday, October 17, 2016 at Green Acres Cemetery with Rev J M Nelms officiating according to Hill-Watson-People's Funeral Service LLC, 1605 3rd Avenue, Columbus, 706-327-9293. Visitation and family hour will be from 5:00PM-7:00PM Sunday, October 16, 2016 at the funeral home. Mr. Willis was born September 6, 1935 in Opelika, AL to the late Guy and Molly Willis, Sr.. He retired from St Francis Hospital, Hughston Clinic as well as the Chokkar Clinic. Mr. Willis accepted Christ at an early age and was member of St Paul CME Church, Crawford, AL. Guy was survived by his Children, Carolyn Woolfolk, Gale(James)Passmore, Norman Willis, Jacqueline Willis and Virginia(Derek)Thornton. He was also survived by his step-children, Audrey Bryant, Beverlye Fomby, David(Charlene)and Gary(Janet)Williams; two sisters-in-law, Pauline(William)Parker and Annie Mae Shealy; brothers-in-law, Bishop(Elizabeth)Shealy, J.C Green and Homer Clyde(Virginia)Green and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and dear friends. Special thanks to Gentiva Hospice, St Paul CME Church family and all family and friends. The processional will depart 703 26th Avenue, Phenix City, AL at 11:00AM Monday.
