Columbus, Georgia - Ms. Iris Lee Jefferson, 54, Columbus, Ga passed Monday, February 27, 2023 in Columbus, GA.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. EST, Saturday, March 11, 2023 in the C.T. Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Noble D. Williams, officiating. Interment will follow in Green Acres Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, March 11, 2023 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. EST according to Taylor Funeral Home, Inc.
Ms. Jefferson was born on August 17, 1968 in Valley, AL, to Dorothy Jones (late Wilbert) of Columbus, Ga and Isiah Dunn of Valley, AL.
Survivors include two daughters, Chiquita Jefferson (Mitchell) and Cherell Jefferson (Travis); one son, Jerald Jefferson and their loving father, Gerald Mercer; four sisters, Annie Robinson (Larry), Yonyetta White, Jasmine Jones and Raven White; four brothers, Al Dunn, Antonio White (Natasha), Asa Davis and Isiah Tumbs; four granddaughters; one grandson; a host of other relatives and friends.
