Lee and Debra, I will always remember Jill and her brother, Lee, and I think of you often and the sorrow you experienced. Jill was a friend to my grandchildren. They attended North Davidson High School and Bethesda U. M. church together. I am the Historian at Bethesda Church and we have the tennis shoes and shirt that Lee, her father, wore when he walked from Georgia to Bethesda Church in their memory on display. I think of her and her brother often as I work in the History Room and see pictures and articles of them. They and their family will always be remembered at Bethesda Church. Hope you will visit us soon. Love and blessings. Crissy

Lee and Debra, When I go into the History Room at church, I always remember Jill and Lee. The shoes and shirt you wore for the walk to church are where Mother displayed them. Mother loved your family and so do I. I am thinking about you with love and prayers. Hope to see you at Homecoming in August. We are celebrating our 150th anniversary of Bethesda UM Church. Blessings, Crissy

My deepest heartfelt sympathy goes out the the Wagner Family. I lost my nephew (Ryan Byerly) last year in a terrible accident. Jillian would have been in his graduating class if she had not moved to Georgia. No words will comfort you at this time, only our prayers that God will give you strength to go on until we meet them again. Please know your family will be in my prayers.

Lee and Jillian were special kids and an irreplacable part of our youth group at Bethesda while I was there. I will never forget the joy of hearing Jillian's laugh and the way she looked forward to all the games we used to play together. May God be with you during this very difficult time. May you be comforted in a way that only the pressence of the Holy Spirit can provide. You will be in my prayers.

Dear Wagner Family--

I had the privilege of meeting Jill last year in Dr. Covel's English class. She sat in front of me, frequently turning around for a chance to brighten my day. She always succeeded. Her smiles and laughter were something I looked forward to every day. It is definitely an honor to have known her.

I know words cannot express what you are going through. I pray that God would watch over you and yours during this time--that He would give you comfort and peace.

You continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.

Lee and Debbie, just want you to know that you have been lifted up in prayer ever since Monday. We know not the reasons for the decisions our Lord makes but we know in our hearts he loves us and we are his children. This is such a hard time for you both, that I can't imagine the hurt you have--but know in your heart that our Lord's arms surround you at this moment and he is holding you in his lap and will continue to hold you. Just lean on him to heal your hurting heart. Please know that Bethesda has been praying without ceasing since Monday, and we will continue to lift you up. God Bless You Both

I'm not sure if you remember me, but my daughter Danielle attended school with Jilly and was on the cheerleading squad together when they were in elementary school. Randall and I also had Jilly in our 2nd grade sunday school class at Bethesda Church. I wanted to tell you that I am so, so sorry for your loss, there are no words. Your children were beautiful and smart and now they are walking with angels. My prayers will be with you and may you find comfort in God and in each other.

It's hard to know what just to say,

When precious ones are taken away.

Far to soon they had to part,

Their memories forever in your hearts.

You had them for such a short while, but their lives always gave you smiles.

Those gone before will watch with care, until the day comes when you will join them there.

Know they are watching from heaven above, and with every ray of sunshine will send you their love.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

WHEN MY SON WAS KILLED IN A CAR CRASH ALMOST TWO YEARS AGO, SOMEONE GAVE ME A JOURNAL TO WRITE IN. IT HAS REALLY HELPED ME TO DEAL WITH MY LOSS. ONE OF THE ENTRIES PREPRINTED IN THE JOURNAL SAYS,"WHY DO WE SAY WE HAVE LOST A LOVED ONE? FOR WE KNOW WHERE OUR LOVED ONE IS; WITH THE LORD."

MY HEART IS WITH YOU, AND I AM PRAYING FOR YOU BOTH.

Debbie and Lee,

I'm not sure if you remember me (I used to be Laura Clark). I went to school with Kim (Lee's sister), and Kim Pope is a good friend of mine. She called me last night to tell me the sad news about your children, and I cannot begin to tell you how deeply sorry I am. Words can't describe how heartbroken I am for you. I know, that anything anyone can say right now will not ease your pain. But please know that you are not alone and that all parents who love their children as you did, feel your pain. Please allow the Lord to work his miracles of healing with time. You are in my thoughts a prayers.
