Coumbus, Georgia - Mrs. Kristi Michelle Crawford, 49 of Columbus, GA passed Friday, August 27, 2021 in Columbus, GA.
Graveside service will be 3:00 P.M. EST, Saturday, September 4, 2021 AT Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Cuthbert, GA. Visitation will be Friday, September 3, 2021 from 3-5 p.m EST according to Taylor Funeral Home, Inc.
Mrs. Crawford was born May 21, 1972 in Columbus, GA to the late Artelious Shorter, Jr. and Minnie Davis. She was a 1990 graduate of Kendrick High School and was a teacher in the Muscogee County School District.
Survivors include her daughters, LaCorea Shorter, Simone Crawford, Maya Crawford and Malika Crawford; siblings, Veronica (Richard) Maxwell and Artelious Shorter, III; grandson, Tyree Mobley; special nephew, Joseph Williams and a host of other relatives and friends.

This one hit hard. We were school-mate, members of the Kendrick High School Marching Band and reunited with our girls on the Glory Girl Competitive Jump Rope Team. Her sweet spirit and smile will continue to live on in all of us. Malika, you and your sisters will continue to be in our hearts. May our prayers of condolences bring peace and comfort to you all.

I was deeply saddened by the passing of Ms. Crawford. We spoke of our weight loss journeys as we were both there at one time. I am blessed to have known her and will always remember her kindness and beautiful smile.
