Our parients spent their lives teaching us how to survive the trials and tribulations of life. They did the best they could with what they had. Now it's time for us to pass the knowledge and experience on to our children.

They now rest, after a job well done.

May God continue to bless you, and your family.

I could not have asked for a more Kinder, Nicer, and Loving neighbor as Mr. Simon (as we knew him) was. During our childhood, Never once did he tell our parents that we threw the ball against his house as we played. At times, he would even sit on the porch and watch us and cheer us on in his soft, quiet, voice. I will never forget him. He will be truly missed. My belated condolences to the family that we knew as being part of ours. I’m grateful that we had the Shelton’s as neighbors and lived during a period that was truly “Good Times.”

To Virginia and the entire family of Leotis Shelton, Sr. Our love ones feel no pain when death takes them away. We, as onlookers, feel the pain because we can no longer see, touch, nor hear them. Others try to comfort by deeds and words. Only time and memories can mend the wound that death has made. I pray you all with grow in God's grace and your faith in God will bless you.

Although, I am mourning for the loss of my grandfather, I am more incline to celebrate and cherish the memories of the life that he lived. I am thankful for all the lives that he touched. I don't ask why or question the fact that he is no longer a physical being in my life. I know that his work here was completed and now he is in the best place. He will be sorely missed.
