Orlando, Florida - On Tuesday morning, July 22, Linda passed from the loving arms of her family into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father. "When I can neither see, nor hear, nor speak, still I can pray so that God can hear. When I pass through the valley of the shadow of death, I expect to be in constant conversation with Him." Linda, "Nunni" was born on January 13, 1948 in Columbus, Georgia to Mr. Thomas Harold Allen and Mrs. Betty Kirkland Allen. A lover of the arts, she was a passionate and gifted ballet, toe, and tap dancer, a dance teacher, model, and political campaigner. She competed in many beauty and talent competitions and was runner up in the National Miss Junior Achievement Pageant. She was a lover of the written word and a gifted orator. She was a true beauty on the inside and out. Her love of life and Christ exuded in all she did. Her strength and wisdom made her a true force of nature. Her character, love and loyalty for her loved ones was awe-inspiring. "Oh glorious truth that we are an indispensable part of the great plan and program of the Father."
