Cottonton, AL- Lola Frances Jackson King, 84, of Cottonton, AL, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at her home in Hopkinsville, KY.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm EST, on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at Main Post Cemetery in Ft. Benning, GA. The family will receive friends starting at 12:00pm EST at Vance Memorial Chapel and leave in procession to the cemetery at 1:30pm EST from the funeral home.
Mrs. King was born September 11, 1932, in Nashville, TN, the daughter of the late Will and Fannie Watkins Jackson. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.
Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Jackson King, Sr., her son, Andrew Jackson King, Jr., her daughter, Nancy Marie Ficcarotta and her sister, Rachel Gallant.
She is survived by her son, Stanley King, wife Lisa of Eufaula, AL and John N. King, wife Patricia A. of Phenix City, AL; daughter, Irena Michelle King White, husband Bipin Patel of Hopkinsville, KY; brother, James Tidwell; sister, Charlotte Matthews; thirteen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
