Columbus, GA- Lonnie C. Grant 55, of 1807 Emerson Avenue, Columbus passed Thursday June 7, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital. Funeral services will be held 1:00PM Tuesday June 12, 2012 at the Rose Hill Chapel of Hill-Watson-People's Funeral Service LLC, 2919 Hamilton Road with Rev. Patsy Snell Banks officiating. Interment will follow at Green Acres Cemetery according to Hill-Watson-People's Funeral Service LLC. Visitation will be from 1:00PM-7:00PM Monday, June 11, 2012 at the funeral home. Mr. Grant was born December 15, 1956 in Walterboro, SC son of the late Willie and Mary Williams Grant. He was a United States Navy Veteran and worked as a Customer Service Representative for AFLAC. Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, Tonia S. Grant; son, Justin Grant; brother, Bernard(Frances) Grant, Auburn, AL; sister, Regina(Sonya)Williams, Atlanta, GA; 7 sisters in law, 2 brothers in law; a great aunt; 3 uncles, several aunts, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
