Margaret Yarbrough Lane December 2, 1920- January 3, 2007 COLUMBUS, GA— Margaret Yarbrough Lane, 86, of Columbus died Wednesday at St. Francis Hospital. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday January 06, 2007 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike McBride officiating. Interment will be held in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends this evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus. Mrs. Lane was born December 02, 1920 in Harden, TN., daughter of the late Dacker and Deacy McMeans. She was the owner of the Manhattan Club in Columbus, Ga. Survivors include one daughter, Linda Whittley and husband Ronald J. of Midland, Ga.; one son, James E. Lane and wife Penelope of Columbus, Ga.; one sister, Geraldine Markham of Athens, Al.; four brothers, Floyd McMeans of Athens, Ala., James McMeans of Huntsville, Ala, Donald McMeans of Athens, Al. and Billy McMeans of Palm Springs, CA.; five grandchildren, Randy Mears, Rodney Mears, Steve Yarbrough, Melissa Yarbrough and Ashton Lane; two great grandchildren Andrey and Zack Mears.
