Columbus, GA- Peter Martin "Marty" Arnold, Jr., age 60, of Columbus, GA died Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at the Medical Center.
The family will have a visitation Tuesday, May 29, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. Burial will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 2, 2012 at Parkhill Cemetery.
Mr. Arnold was born June 15, 1951 in Columbus, GA son of the late Peter Martin Arnold, Sr. and Loraine Hall Arnold. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother David Arnold.
Mr. Arnold was very active in local little league where he served as the Assistant District 8 Administrator for Softball with Little League International. He also coached at Pioneer Little League for a team called the Rebels from 1993 to 1995 and later coached the "Pride" fast pitch softball travel team and the "Columbus Challengers" between 1996 and 1998.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Arnold, daughter, Kristan Arnold Price (Coleman) of Americus, GA, son, Eddie Arnold of Columbus, GA, sister Patricia Little (Larry) of Columbus, GA and two grandchildren, Zachary Price and Cecelia Arnold.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be made to District 8 Little League, 1400 Cusseta Road, Columbus, GA 31901
