Columbus, GA- Peter Rogers Williams 57, of 3320 #308 N. Lumpkin Road, Columbus died December 10, 2011 at Columbus Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 1:00PM Saturday December 17, 2011 at Kingdom Faith Outreach Ministries 1858 Midtown Drive with Bishop Veranica Word Haynes officiating and Rev. Albert Suggs, Jr. eulogist. Interment will follow on Monday December 19, 2011 at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, AL with military honors according to Hill-Watson-People's Funeral Service LLC. Visitation will be from 11:00AM until the funeral hour on Saturday at the church. Mr. Williams was born November 5, 1954 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL son of the late Dorothy Johnson. He served in the United States Army 14 years earning the rank of SGT E-5, attended Parkwood Baptist Church and worked Auten Poultry and Peek Pavement. He leaves behind his wife Catherine Williams; two sons, Alexander Williams and Willie(Lacey)Royal; four daughters, Lawanda Williams, Cynthia Royal, Melissa(Everett)Brown, Angela(Tommy)Clark; two brothers, Robert Williams and Maurice(Dollie)Battle; six sisters, Sadie(Cleveland)Jackson, Dorothy(Johnny)Fault, Janet(Darriel)Davis, Alice(Andy)Bacon, Eula Colin and Verlinda(Roy)Brown; one aunt; two sisters in law; eleven grandchildren; five great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends

Mrs Cat i am sorry for your loss.I asked Willie how you all were doing and he informed me of the passing.I could have not asked for better neighbors.Mr.peter will forever rest in peace.I will never forget the kindness you all brought to the neighborhood.
