I remember Rebecca from Mrs. Roberts' Kindergarten class. I thought she was so cute and you always dressed her in cute little dresses. She was shy but when it would be just us in the room she would talk to me. She had the softest voice. I told her one day I thought that she had an angel's voice it was so soft and sweet.

I can still see young, timid Becca coming over to our house in the creepy, caliginous forest for attempted "stay overs." She would make sure to bring her blanky along, and she refused to leave with out first being reassured by her mommy. After about four hours or so of afternoon hide-and-go-seek, when the light began to vanish somewhere in to the scary Harris County backyard, the stay-over attempts were most often counteracted with calls home for mommy or daddy to come pick her up. I was always so disappointed that my best friend wanted to go home. It was just that, for her, nothing compared to the comfort of being with her family. She would give me ultimatums, "you can spend the night at my house, instead, Jamie;" or, "I promise I will stay all night next time." Becca never lost that sensitive side, as she was a very a talented poetic artist. She loved her family and friends immensely, but she is now certainly in a place where she can feel the comfort of God's love throughout each millisecond of eternity, and she will never again be faced with the scary obscurities of the dark.
