- Stanley Lamar Gardner, 58, died Monday, April 9, 2018 at Piedmont Columbus Regional Hospital.
Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Mt. Calvary Church, 1728 Floyd Rd, Cols, GA 31907. Burial service will follow at Green Acres Cemetery. Rev. Walter Phillips Sr. will officiate.
The family will receive friends at Kimbrough's Funeral Home, 837 5th Ave, Cols, GA 31901. Visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

My deepest condolences to the family in the loss of your loved one. I was shocked to hear about your loss. I met Stan back in 1993, he painted a vehicle for me, and we became good friends. He will truly be missed.
