Phenix City, AL- Tevin Javariyus Anderson affectionately known as "Teb", 20, of 3686 Highway 80 West, Phenix City, AL passed Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. EST, Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, Phenix City, AL, with Rev. Kevin Jones, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation is today from 1 - 8 p.m. EST, according to Taylor Funeral Home Inc.
Mr. Anderson was born October 17, 1991 in Columbus, GA to Tywoana Anderson Jakes and Quinton L. Jakes. He was a member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church. He worked as a Bellman at the Marriott Hotel in Columbus, GA.
Survivors include his parents Tywoana Jakes and Quinton Jakes of Phenix City, AL; three brothers, Brian (Champri) Johnson, Darius Jakes and Zha'Quintae Jakes all of Phenix City, AL; three sisters, Bria (Melvin) Jakes, Taylor Jakes and Caitlyn Jakes all of Columbus, GA; maternal grandparents, Eugene G. Anderson and Joan Anderson both of Phenix City, AL; paternal grandparents, William (Dorothy) Jakes of Stone Mountain, GA and Freda Jakes of Atlanta, GA; great grandfather, Jimmy Elias of Phenix City, AL, a host of other relatives and friends.

9 months and 5.5 hours later and we are still torn..our hearts are shattered all up and down the highway and our home is no more...i dont scream until i lose my voice anymore when i come here, but sadly i fear the silence. missing you like crazy with no end in sight. im tired of watching this world nephew. itll suit me just fine to take my last breath so u can take me by the hand and we fly away together. Lord how i want to see your smiling face. i want to laugh with you so bad i dont know what to do. nobody can bring a laugh out of anybody quite like you. a million times weve missed you. a million times weve cried. if love couldve saved you.. you never wouldve died.. Rest In Paradise Tebby-Do-Style-Stuff!!!

Teb, baby it seems not so long ago that your mother and I were exchanging our pregnancy experience for our 1st born with each other. You were a beautiful baby with a happy smile!
