Tiffany Shellnut Obituary
May 9, 1944 - April 4, 2022
Griffin, Georgia - Tiffany K. Shellnutt, age 77 of Griffin, Georgia passed away in the comfort of her home on Monday, April 4, 2022. Tiffany was born in Steubenville, Ottawa on May 9, 1944. Growing up in Florida she was a sun bunny who loved the ocean. Tiffany graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Art in teaching but adventured to the skies rather than the classroom and after an extensive career in the Airline industry, she retired from Northwest Airlines. Tiffany was a devoted wife, animal lover and admirer of Christian music. In love of God and community, she was a member of Griffin United Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John Wesley and Kaye Small.
Survived by her husband, Homer Harding Shellnutt; and his five children; sons: Charles Shellnutt and wife Kim, Michael Shellnutt and wife Nancy, Timothy Shellnutt and spouse Claudia, and Richard Shellnutt and wife Tonya, as well as a daughter, Mary Sargent. Also by fifteen grandchildren and loving cousins, Leslie and Lynn Harrison, and Marlene Pooler.
A service for Mrs. Shellnutt will be held Saturday, April 16, 2022, at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice in memory of Tiffany.
Conner-Westbury Funeral Home, located at 1891 W. McIntosh Road, Griffin, is in charge of the arrangements.
