Ft. Mitchell, AL- Mrs. Virginia Cruz, 81, of 34 Lake Vista Dr., Ft. Mitchell, AL passed on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at Columbus Specialty Hospital, Columbus, GA according to Taylor Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cruz was born April 24, 1930 in Vieques, Puerto Rico to the late Luz T. Rivera and the late Andres Rosario.
She was a seamstress. She resided at Canterbury Health Facility after her heath declined. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.
She is survived by one son, Andres Torres; three daughters, Luz Torres of Columbus, GA; Librada Torres and Zorida Cruz both of Puerto Rico; one, brother, Gamaniel of Puerto Rico; four sisters, Julia, Conception, Belen and Bernarda all of Puerto Rico; 10 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
