Avon Kenison Obituary
Born July 25, 1949 in Pennsylvania, Avon grew up in Portsmouth, NH the son of the late Margaret and Avon Kenison Sr. He resided in NH, Colorado and the Monadnock Region for several years. He spent the last years of his life traveling throughout Alaska. He found his greatest solitude and peace when in nature. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, seeker of adventure, and loved hiking, camping, and skiing.
He his survived by his two children, Angel Smith of Newmarket, NH and Joseph Mitchell and his wife Heather Mitchell of Bracebridge, Ontario; brother Gunnar Kenison and his wife Claire Kenison of Barrington, NH; sister Mary Hanrahan and her husband Paul Hanrahan of Oregon; brother Daniel Kenison and his wife Rose Kenison of Wisconsin; grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sisters Alice and Kathryn Kenison and brother Francis Kenison.
