Joel Castle Obituary
Joel was an outdoors enthusiast. His love of fishing, hunting, and simply being outside was cultivated by his involvement in the Boy Scouts. Seasonally, he enjoyed riding his three-wheeler and snowmobiling. He shared his musical talent through playing guitar. He was an avid reader of books related to mechanics and electronics and used his knowledge gained from those books to repair household items and automobiles.
Survivors include his mother, Ona Ruchti of Bradford, New Hampshire; two daughters, Angela Turmel and her husband, James, of Hudson, New Hampshire, and Melony Castle of Lakewood, Colorado; a sister, Elyce Reny, of Bradford, New Hampshire; two grandchildren, Jordan and Makayla Castle; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is predeceased by a son, Joel Castle, Jr., and a brother, Chuck Castle.
Calling hours will be held Monday, August 1, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral Home, 33 Marlboro Street, Keene, New Hampshire. Burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made the American Cancer Society, 2 Commerce Dr # 110, Bedford, N.H. 03110. Condolences may be offered at www.fletcherfuneralhome.com.
