We are so very sorry to hear of Dick's passing. The first time we met him we were riding our bicycles past Green Carpet Stables and saw a sign for horse boarding. We pulled up to the barn, where he was working on a car, and he said, "Hi! Are you all neighbors?" His kindness was evident from day one. I boarded my horse there for many years and he was always ready for a pleasant conversation or to give me a bunch of eggs or vegetables from the garden. He was the best of the best.
