Martha Shea Obituary
Martha was born in Nashua, NH on July 22, 1949 and was the daughter of the late Jack R. Major and Marion Major.
Shea was a graduate of Mount Saint Mary Seminary and Nashua Business College.
For many years, she was employed as a Licensed Nurses Assistant at many area long term nursing facilities and as Activities Coordinator at Monadnock Adult Daycare until her retirement.
In her free time, Martha enjoyed many crafts. She also enjoyed kayaking with her husband on peaceful Willard Pond. Above all, her most cherished time was spent with her family, especially her children and grandchildren, who she loved deeply.
Martha is survived by her husband of 51 years, her daughter Jennifer, son Jeffrey and his wife Tracy, her three grandchildren, Maegan, McKenna and Dexter, as well as her brother Jonathan and sister Monica.
At the request of the family, services will be held at a later date in the spring.
The Holt-Woodbury Funeral Home & Cremation Service Hillsboro, NH is assisting the family.

Martha was wonderful with my wife Mary-lou when after strokes,she spent time at monadnock adult day care.she had patience and had lots of personality as she created activities.i remember her helping Mary Lou paint and draw. And billy Weber there as well and Mimi weidner. All are gone but they all sing songs welcoming Martha Shea and praising her.
