Theresa Vaillancourt

Greenville, NH — Theresa Vaillancourt of Ormond Beach, FL & Greenville, NH was called home to the Lord on 5/19/21 after a long courageous fight with a deliberating illness. She was an only child born in Canada on 12/9/1933 to Valerien & Marie Clair Bergeron. The family moved to Leominster, MA when she was very young and later to Greenville, NH. She graduated from Appleton Academy and met the love of her life Ronald Vaillancourt, they married in 1951 and enjoyed 62 years of marriage before losing Ronald in 2013. They made their home in Greenville and had 7 children.

She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Parish in Greenville for years.

Theresa together with her husband Ronald started R.J. Vaillancourt & Sons Construction and built Vaillancourt Mobile Home Park in New Ipswich, NH. She was part owner of Copper Kettle in Greenville which she ran for years with her sister-in-law. After her children were grown, she started Mt. View Snack Bar in New Ipswich which she ran with some of her family, it was known for its fried sea food, burgers, pizza and ice cream. She also worked as a cook in Mason Elementary school before retiring to Ormond Beach where they lived together for another 20 years.

Theresa was very active with her children, she enjoyed: camping, swimming, skiing, snowmobiling, skating. She loved spending summers days with her family at the family picnic and swimming area know as the "Pit". She loved to cook, dance and play cards with friends but most of all she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Theresa is survived by her 2 daughters, Monique Coll and her husband Ken of Jaffrey, NH, Jacqueline Beausoleil and her husband Joe of Edgewater, her 3 sons: Gerard Vaillancourt of Ormond Beach, Edward Vaillancourt and Joyce Bochash of New Ipswich, Maurice Vaillancourt and his wife Lynn of New Ipswich, a Daughter-In-Law Carolle Vaillancourt formerly of New Ipswich and a Son-In Law Robert Banks formerly of New Ipswich. She also leaves behind 18 Grandchildren 45 Great Grandchildren.

Theresa was predeceased by her husband Ronald, her parents, her son Norman Vaillancourt, her daughter Cecile Banks and Grandson Patrick Vaillancourt.

A funeral service will be held at Sacred Heart Church in Greenville, NH on July 10, 2021, at 11am. Followed by a grave side service at Sacred Heart Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family asked donations to be made in her name to: St Vincent De Paul-Sacred Heart Food Pantry. Donations can be left at the church the day of the funeral or mailed in to 15 High Street, Greenville 03048.
