Like my former teammates that have posted before me have indicated, Coach AJ had a profound impact on our lives as young men. He taught us valuable lessons in terms of teamwork and good sportsmanship as well as the ability to have appreciation and respect for others. These lessons laid the foundation for us well beyond the football field. Mrs. Pud, Brett, Rhett, Mike, Clint, and family, please accept my deepest condolences.

I will always treasure our years as neighbors, watching the boys grow up, seeing the love surrounding your beautiful family! AJ has left a big hole in this world, but I'm sure that he made quite an entrance in Heaven! Wish that I could be there with y'all but I'm keeping each of you in my heart and prayers.

Coach A.J. was my Coach in little league Football for the Tanglewood Tigers, he had such a influence on me , that I always referred back to him as I was playing through High school, and then Coaching little league myself later, always found myself using things he taught us , Coach always demanded 110% and we would stay out there until we got it right. He was tough as nails, but would put his arm around you to lift you up. The technique we were taught as young men, was sound, still today, I will say Coach A.J. was one of the best Coaches I have been around, and had, at any age or level. Love you Coach....
