Adam HRYHORCHUK Obituary
It is with great sadness we announce the sudden and unexpected loss of our beloved Adam. His tragic death on Friday, September 20th has left a profound sense of loss with the many friends and family with whom Adam shared his laughter and love over his altogether brief 22 years of age. He will be especially missed by those who have loved him so dearly and now survive him; his father Greg Hryhorchuk, his mother Darcy Hibberd, his stepfather Ross MacLachlan, his brothers Sean and Shane MacLachlan, and his younger sister Ally MacLachlan. Adam was born on April 8, 1991, and was raised in Vancouver. He attended Queen Mary Elementary and McKechnie Elementary as well as West Point Grey Academy and Magee Secondary. He was a master at enjoying life and finding ways to brighten the days of those around him. Adam will always remain in our minds and in our hearts. A funeral service will be held for Adam at 2:00pm, on Saturday, October 5th, 2013 at St. Mary's Anglican Church in Kerrisdale, 2490 West 37th Avenue, Vancouver, BC.

Hello Darcy: We were horrified to become aware of you and your family's terrible loss of Adam. A parent should never have to endure the loss of a child. It is just the wrong order. We wish for you all to somehow find peace in wonderful memories. The pain subsides but never disappears as we have experienced in losing Ken's son in an accident at 28 in 2001. We are thinking of you.
