Adam Muñoz Obituary
He was born in Hobbs, New Mexico, on May 22, 1975, to Rudy Davila Muñoz and Virginia Barrientes. He was an electronics technician and was Catholic.
Adam's family meant the world to him, and he was especially proud of his children. He always put them first and his favorite saying was "Familia Primero." He was their "Superman," very protective and like a father figure to many. He was a people person with a huge heart, who knew everyone and would do anything to help anyone out. He was a great cook and he loved barbecuing and cooking on the disco.
Those left to cherish his love and memory are his mother: Virginia Barrientes of Carlsbad, father: Rudy Davila Muñoz of Odessa, sons: Adam Muñoz of Odessa and Ashton Munoz of Midland, his daughters: Alyssa Muñoz and Alexus Muñoz of Midland; his sisters: Maricelia Muñoz and Pamela Muñoz of Odessa, nieces: Alyza, Anjalina, Amia, Ava and Ariel, and nephew: Adrian Ali, also survive him.
He is reunited in Heaven with two of his favorite tio's: Juan Barrientes and Felix Muñoz.
Rosary will be held 7:00 pm Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at Acres West 24 Hour Chapel. Funeral Mass will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, officiated by Father Michael Rodriguez. Pallbearers will be Robert Rojero, Michael Muñoz, Felix Muñoz, Jay Pineda, Geno Martinez, Oscar Patino, Ruben Gallegos, Efrain Loya, Jeremy Tinner and Chris Barrientes.
Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West and condolences may be sent to the family online at acreswestfuneral.com.
