Dear Arysta, and family
I have just been informed about Adam's passing and I am so very saddened by these news, There are no adequate words to express my deepest condolences. I will remember Adam as a lovely young man who was passionate about all dimensions of health, and I always enjoyed talking to Adam (and you as well Arysta) as your neighbour next door. I believe that Adam is in heaven now seated next to his maker, where he will wait for all his loved ones in peace and serenity. Arysta, please feel free to reach out to me anytime if you need a listening ear. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Louise

There is not a a day, an hour when I don't think of you, Buddy. You were a bright light who couldn't live in the dark. I am so sorry this happened. Even more so for Gabrielle and Mark and Arysta. I am overwhelmed imagining your grief.

I just heard about this today and I am in shock. I first met Adam in 08. He was a client and then became a friend and colleague. I have nothing but admiration for him, his passion for his business and the health industry in general. Over the years I attended his open houses, bantered about the travel roller vs balls, and tried to keep track of what exciting things he was doing next. Adam was a consummate professional and over the years very graciously referred clients to me. I have a testimonial written by him on my brochure, and now that will have even more meaning to me. When he moved we still kept in touch but not nearly as frequently. I wish now that we had talked more. My heart deeply and truly goes out to Adams family and wife. We have lost a spectacular person and he will be greatly missed.

We knew Adam from basketball at Lindsay Park as a young high school student. As Adam matured physically and mentally we met through my daughter Beiges track club as Adam trained there. We last saw Adam as he progressed to Bob Sled. Adam was a good athlete and always polite and courteous. There is now a void. All the best to Adams family and close friends.

I was working with Arysta and Adam for 6 months when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. In my heart I'll never forget the call I gave to Adam after my surgeries. He was so genuinely concerned. The next day he showed up on my doorstep with bags of food from Community health. Adam stayed 1/2 day and cooked healthy meals for me to help me heal. All I have is a memory of this Adam. I am happy you are not suffering but I miss you so much!

Adam was a great role model. I lived across the street from him and his family for almost 20 years. Him and his sister Marci would babysit me and my siblings as they were about 6 years older than us.
When me and my sister were 10, us and the other neighbourhood kids our age wanted to build a go cart. After a few hours of very little being accomplished with the hammer and nails we had, our mom suggested we ask the older boy across the road, Adam, to help us. So we shyly went across the street and rang the doorbell. He miraculously agreed, and Adam became a bit of a neighbourhood hero. After a few weeks, the go cart was born. We would race it down the steep hill on our street with a kick start. It was named Airwood, which was spray painted on the back, and later Adam's sports car had the same license plate.
Adam was the kid our parents would use as a role model to motivate us to do our best in sports and school, to be a good person, and learning to grow up and support our family.
Our street was a very tight knit community of supportive families. We all had each others back.
When my brother badly hurt his back, Adam helped my brother recover from a back injury using physical training, for free.
He is someone we all respected and admired, and he will be greatly missed. I wish we had been more in touch over the past few years.
Love, Andrea Llewellyn

Our deepest condolences for the loss of such a kind, motivational and inspirational friend. I had the pleasure of being Adam's teammate for a couple of seasons and always enjoyed his company and advice after I had just moved to Canada. Even though I didn't speak very much English at this time, Adam always took the time to communicate with me. I also always enjoyed sharing my home-cooked Brazilian food with him and seeing how much he enjoyed it. Another example of Adam kindness: helped me get my first job in Canada. I am forever grateful for his friendship! I will always remember you, your big smile and contagious laugh. Rest in Peace, Adam.

I am so sorry to hear of Adam's passing, and I wish to express my greatest condolences to the Wood family. While I did not know Adam well, our lives crossed paths at Strathcona. I will always remember him as an exceptional athlete, bright student, and one of the few popular kids in our grade who addressed me by my name - perhaps a silly thing to remember, but nearly a decade and a half later I still recall how this small act of kindness made me feel a little more human and worthy of peer respect. My thoughts are with the Wood family during this difficult time.
