Adolph Hicks Obituary

Mr. Adolph Hicks of Co. Rd. 9 in Slocomb passed away Sunday, Nov. 4, 2007, in Panama City, Fla., after suffering an apparent heart attack. He was 71.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 8 from the Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel in Slocomb with the Revs. Daniel Carroll and Ronnie Baine officiating. Burial will following in the Hartford City Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing
Mr. Hicks was born Feb. 13, 1936, in Holmes County, Fla., to the late John and Ruby Messer Hicks. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include his wife, Rachel Lolley Hicks, Slocomb; two daughters, Reba Hicks, Slocomb, and Debra Giordano (Greg), Leesburg, Fla.; two sons, Jerry Hicks (Natalie), Fruitland, Fla., and Michael Vinson, Slocomb; three sisters, Dorothy Ryan and Wanda Hicks, both of Leesburg, and Flossie Stevens, Lady Lake, Fla.; three brothers, Kenneth Hicks and Daryl Hicks, both of Oxford, Fla., and John Hicks, Leesburg; three grandchildren, Gerri Lynn Hicks, Aline Hicks and Chelsea Bryant; several nieces and nephews.
