Adrian J. Lee, 62, of Goose Lake, Iowa, died on Thurday, March 29, 2007, at Genesis Medical Center-West Campus.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, April 2, 2007, at Assumption Catholic Church in Charlotte. Burial will be in St. Irenaeus Cemetery in Clinton. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2 to 7 p.m. at the Clinton Chapel of Snell-Zornig Funeral Home, where a rosary will be conducted at 3 p.m. Additional visitation will be on Monday from 10 a.m. to service time at the church.
Adrian was born April 8, 1944, in Clinton, Iowa, to William and Iola (McMahon) Lee. He graduated in 1962 from St. Mary's High School. He was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy from 1963 to 1967. On April 8, 1972, he was united in marriage to Carolyn Nelson at St. Irenaeus Church in Clinton. Adrian was a member of Assumption and St. Patrick's Churches. He worked for 32 years at Equistar, retiring in 1999. He enjoyed investing, fishing and golfing. There will never be words to describe how special and wonderful of a person he was.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn; three sons, Mark (Angela) Lee, of Goose Lake, Chris (Tina) Lee, of Lantana, Texas, and Brent Lee, of Oskaloosa, Iowa; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one brother.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Ed and Chris Nelson Scholarship Fund or a favorite charity.

Carolyn and family,
Words will never be enough, but just know you have all been in our prayers for a while now and will continue to be. Adrian was a wonderful person and will be missed. Always remember the good times.
